Since the last release, the focus has continuously been on improving eDelivery. There are several upgrades in this release that should improve your experience, Whether you are a producing representative or administrative professional (or both), there are several upgrades in this release that should improve your experience.

As you know, DirectChoice accounts are not subject to paper fees, due to their pricing method. How eStatus is reported on for clients who hold assets in a DirectChoice account, has been updated and improved.

Now, eDelivery preferences for DirectChoice accounts are no longer factored in the eStatus for the client. Take, for example, a client who has both a DirectChoice and a Standard Brokerage account. Their DirectChoice account is not enrolled in eDelivery, but the Standard Brokerage account is fully enrolled. The eStatus in this scenario now shows as “Partially Enrolled - No Fees.”

Why? This change was made to help you separate clients that are subject to Paper Fees from those who are not, so you can more easily target those that may still need to enroll in eDelivery. Prior to this change, DirectChoice accounts were included in eStatus causing an incorrect status that the client was subject to paper fees. With this change, these accounts are no longer included in eStatus, giving you a more accurate eDelivery picture for your clients.
