We take your feedback very seriously and always try to include defect fixes when we do product updates. There is a list of fixed defects below to emphasize our commitment to building better products for you.
In this release, we are rolling out two features that have been reported as pain points, which include:
• The ability to edit the Account Short Name
• The limit on beneficiaries to a maximum of 10 on Qualified Account Types or Registration Types with an added Transfer on Death (TOD).
The account short name can now be edited from within the Account Details page and is limited to 10 characters.
The example below shows the default “Short Name” for the client ‘Daniel eQuipt.’ Default formatting is: last name, first name, and cuts off at 10 characters.
eQuipt for New Accounts now imposes a 10-beneficiary maximum limit for NFS accounts on a single account. In the example below, there are a total of 10 beneficiaries added. You’ll notice when you reach the max, the “Add Beneficiary” button disappears.
1. Interested Parties Details Not Displayed on Summary Page
When Interested party information was collected on the Account Details page, it did not display on the Recommendation Summary page. This has been remedied.
Bug: 16369
2. Beneficiary Allocation Percentages Not Displaying Correct Total
When IRA and TOD accounts were set up with three beneficiaries, the total percentage of allocation was not displaying correctly when the allocations were set up with a single decimal point value: 33.3, 33.3, and 33.4 instead of 33.30, 33.30, and 33.40. eQuipt was showing the total to be 99.99999999999998. This has been remedied.
Bug: 28910
3. Payee Name Not Populated on NFS Standing Instructions
Payee Name was not populating on the NFS Standing Instructions form when the payee/bank account owner was also the UTMA/UGMA minor. This has been remedied.
Bug: 39720
4. Missing Direct Deposit Account (DDA) Number from ACH Form
ACH form was generated without DDA number or account type (Checking/Savings). Additionally, the DDA number is missing from the database. This has been remedied
Bug: 42195
5. Duty of Care (DOC) Product Selection Questions are Not Displaying as Expected
DOC Product Selection checkboxes for Non-Brokerage (NB) Commission Accounts and other Account/Reg Type/Program combinations were not displaying as expected (e.g.: NB Commission Account showed Mutual Funds as the only checkbox, when it should have shown multiple options.) This has been remedied.
Bug: 47755
With this hot summer and July nearly in our rearview, we continue to look forward to August and beyond. New Registration Types are on the Horizon, along with some exciting security changes to eQuipt Client Portal. Stay tuned...
Because the system only allows a total of 10 beneficiaries, if the total percentage allocation doesn’t equal 100, you will need to redistribute the allocation or process outside of eQuipt for New Accounts.
